According to a recent Nielsen report, country is the top-ranked radio format compared to the nation’s radio audience as a whole, and the second-ranked music format when limited to the top markets only.
Radio royalties don't tend to level off as quickly with a popular country song, compared to other genres. Songs that experience significant radio play can often build a foundation of streaming and other types of income as the radio royalties slow down. As the winning bidder, going forward you'll collect the incoming radio royalties and other income sources — like streaming — for the next 10 years.

While the new song is not included in this auction, the Gold-certified track can help boost the group’s back catalog.
